    His master's voice (Altec 15A at ETF 2011)

    Dear all,

    This last week end, I was participating to ETF 2011 (European Triode Festival) organised for the third year by the french association Melaudia.

    We had the incredible opportunity to listen to some vintage Altec equipments, inluding these very nice 15A with Altec Amplifiers.

    I could not resist to take a picture of my dog in front of the horn...

    Very impressive, neutral, natural, a lot of emotion. We listened mainly jazz singers or french singers like Yves Montant

    Any HF augmentation used (tweeter or other?) These horns don't have extended HF capabilities from what I understand.

    Yes, HF augmentation was provided by the WE 597.
